The Vick Family was fun to capture through photos. We met this past Sunday and even made it through the rain! I first met the Vicks when I was taking pictures of Travis (the oldest son) and his baseball team a few years back. The family has sure grown up since then. In this photo shoot, we started with some posed family pictures where Amanda (their mom) was a pro at getting her kids to laugh. At the end they rolled, raced & wrestled their way down a hill to make some fun pictures. Hopefully they had as much fun as I did!

Maggie Lee For Good

I was honored with the opportunity to design the logo for Maggie Lee For Good. The Henson's pastored the church I attended in Brownwood TX several years ago where our families became friends. Read Maggie Lee's story below: (taken from www.maggieleeforgood.org)

Maggie Lee Henson was a vibrant 12-year-old who died from a traumatic brain injury she suffered when the First Baptist Church of Shreveport bus flipped and landed on her on July 12th, 2009, while on the way to youth camp.

Thousands have already committed to performing ONE ACT OF KINDNESS in honor of Maggie Lee on October 29, 2009, what would be her 13th birthday.

Bobby & Lindsey - Wedding

Bobby & Lindsey got married a few weeks ago on August 1. These guys are certainly meant for each other. Before the ceremony, they exchanged gifts and to their surprise, they both gave each other a pair of Oakley Sunglasses. Like two peas in a pod. Lindsey and I went to college together so it was a lot of fun getting to be around her on her wedding day. Capturing emotions from this couple was an easy task. They are both so full of life & joy.

Erin & Rob - Engagement

At Erin & Rob's first engagement session, the skies opened up and let it all go. Luckily some of their friends opened their house to us to let us take a few pictures. They managed to stay somewhat dry and we had a great time. We rescheduled for a week later and the weather cooperated nicely. Thanks for being so flexible Erin & Rob!

David & Tracy - Wedding

David & Tracy got married July 11. Both families were such a joy to be around. I don't know that I've ever been around two sets of families that loved to dance as much as their families did! Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews...everyone was on the dance floor. David & Tracy, I hope you guys enjoyed the day. What a great wedding.

Susannah & Justin Engagement

Susannah & Justin met me last weekend at Discovery Green Park. I had been there once before for a concert but this was my first time to take pictures there. We loved it! Susannah & Justin were troopers. Even though we started at 7:30AM, it was still around 85 degrees. It's SO HOT! What's the deal Houston! They still smiled and entertained me through the entire shoot.

Abby & Chris Treece

Abby & Chris got married a little over a month ago. After talking with Abby's parents, it seems like this will not be a day soon forgotten. I love every wedding - but this one was extra special since Abby got married in the church we both grew up at. The ceremony was both beautiful and meaningful. Both Chris & Abby were so incredible calm the entire day! It was fun watching the two of them have such a great day.

Renata & Taylor - Engagement

Renata and Taylor introduced me to a new park...new to me anyway. It's amazing how you can live in an area for years and still discover new places. We went to a park near downtown and it was amazing. I had a great time getting to know this couple. These guys are super laid back and fun to be around. I can't wait for the wedding day!

Stroh Family

Saturday I had the privilege of taking pictures of the Stroh family. My long time friend, Kim and her husband Nate have twin boys that are almost 11 months old. They have figured out how to crawl and are on the move! Above is one of my favorite pictures because it is a glimpse of what their life must be like on a daily bases. The boys are so great - we had a lot of fun together.
